Report：「路地園芸術人気大賞発表会とシンポジウム」参加

美術家・村山修二郎氏による「路地園芸術人気大賞発表会とシンポジウム」が11月20日（土）、キラキラ橘商店街・おやすみ処「橘館」（東京都墨田区）において行われ、Repli編集員がパネラーとして参加しました。

主なパネラーは次のとおり：向島百花園所長・齋藤氏、墨田区現代美術製作所ディレクター・曽我氏、キラキラ橘商店街山田屋薬局・藤井氏、Repli編集員（Art-Phil）。

当日は、路地園芸と地域におけるコミュニケーションの活性化に焦点があたり、そこからアートとしての路地園芸の可能性や墨田区におけるコミュニティの未来像などについて多岐にわたる議論が行われました。

路地園芸に象徴される伝統的な居住区域、そして東京スカイツリーに象徴される新興のマンションコミュニティ、２つの異質な文化の対話を促進し、活性化するための方途として、村山氏の"路地園芸術"の必要性があらためて確認されました。

Participation in “Alley Gardening Art Contest and Symposium”

“Alley Gardening Art Contest and Symposium” hosted by Mr. Shujiro Murayama (artist), was held on 20 (Sat), November, at Lounge Tachibana, KiraKira Tachibana Parade (Sumida-ku, Tokyo), in which an editor of Relpli Editorial took part.

Main panelists: Ms. Saito (Director of Mukojima Hyakkaen), Mr. Soga (Director of Sumida-ku Contemporary Art Production), and Mr. Fujii (Yamadaya Pharmacy of Kirakira Tachibana Parade), and an editor of Repli Editorial (Art-Phil).

On the day, the relationship of Alley Gardening and local communication was mainly argued, with a variety of topics such as the potentiality of Alley Gardening as art and the future vision of the community in Sumida-ku.

Amid the heterogeneity of traditional living quarter symbolized by Alley Gardening and the upcoming condo community by Tokyo Sky Tree, the necessity of “Alley Gardening Art” by Mr. Murayama was recognized anew in order to promote and activate the dialogue between the different cultures.
